My name is  Marie Abigail Etienne, I am a mother of 4 beautiful children, and I am Haitian. I came to the United States in 2009. I had a goal and I knew the United States would've been a  better place to achieve it, but I didn't know how to start or where to begin, but I never stopped dreaming or thinking about it. My family and I lived in NY for 5 years. It wasn't easy for us, but I always knew things would change one day. We moved from NY to KY in 2016. I was a certified nursing assistant, and worked in a nursing home, but I always had a passion for cleaning because I liked helping and putting a smile on people’s faces. In 2019 I started thinking about putting my dream into reality, I registered my own Janitorial business, but I still didn’t know what to do but I never stopped trying and learning, I came up with the name West Indies Family Cleaning,  because I want people to know my background, and I’m proud to be an immigrant, and each member of my business is my family  because I believe together we can build  a good team, and we can bring a smile on people’s faces.
